Individual Support Services
Enable’s Individual Support Services (ISS) help adults with disabilities obtain the funding they need to live independently.
Services
Participants enrolled in ISS receive monthly funding to pay for necessary expenditures such as rent, utilities, groceries, and clothing. Upon enrollment, new participants also receive start-up funding necessary to move out on their own, paying for things like security deposits and first month’s rent.
A staff member performs quality assurance checks at least yearly or whenever there is a concern about a participant’s living situation. She will check on the apartment’s safety and identify any issues that need to be addressed. It is the responsibility of the participant to keep all pertinent bills, receipts, and proof of income.
